When purchasing or selling your property we advise you:

  • To forward a copy of agreement to your lawyer to look over before signing it
  • As a purchaser, when making an offer, it is possible to make some further checks by obtaining an independent valuation by a registered valuer, LIM report, Copy of the District Plan, Building Inspection or Engineering Inspection
  • As these reports will often involve extra costs, you will need to consider which are the more essential in each particular proposed purchase
  • As a purchaser,you need to consider what finance maybe needed

  • Corresponding with the vendor's or purchaser’s solicitor on your behalf
  • Advising you on confirmation of conditions
  • Corresponding with your bank for any financing or refinancing requirements or discharging of existing mortgages
  • Preparing any other required legal documentation and getting you to sign them
  • Dealing with any complex issues that may arise
  • Completing settlement
  • Completing registration at Land Information New Zealand for change of title
